Mission Statement:

Youth Kerala Hindu Society (YKHS) in Dallas, Texas, a part of Kerala Hindu Society of North Texas (KHSNT) at the Sri Guruvayurappan Temple of Dallas, is dedicated to uniting youth of Kerala origin, aged 13-17, by fostering spiritual identity, community service, leadership, and teamwork. Our philosophy centers on upholding the values of Karma, Dharma, Jnana, and Bhakti in all aspects of life. With the blessings of Lord Sri Guruvayurappan and a commitment to selfless service, we strive to instill virtues of kindness, humility, and righteousness, guiding young minds toward a path of faith and integrity.

About Us:

Youth Kerala Hindu Society (YKHS) began as a committee under KHSNT at the Sri Guruvayurappan Temple of Dallas. It was founded to promote Kerala culture and Hindu religious values among young individuals while building a strong, connected, and value-driven youth community. Led by youth aged 13 to 17, YKHS offers various activities, including community service through charity events and fundraising, leadership development through event organization, and participation in cultural activities. A board member oversees the group’s activities and provides guidance and support, along with parent coordinators, to ensure smooth execution and establish a structured framework for activities throughout the year for all YKHS members.
